URGENT FINANCIAL SUPPORT REQUIRED
Until September 17, 2024, children in Akoore had to trek 10 miles daily to access the nearest government approved secondary school. The establishment of Akoore Secondary School has significantly eased this burden, offering
them a nearby education option and improving their learning experience.
Akoore Secondary School is temporarily operating from the premises of St. Paul African Church Primary School, following approval by the Ota
Ministry of Education. However, this arrangement is only valid for a year, creating an urgent need to secure a permanent site. A fundraising project of ₦60 million is underway to purchase land and urgently build blocks
of classrooms to fully establish Akoore Secondary School as an independent institution under the direction of the Ogun State government who would only take over this secondary school after it attains their mandated standards.
Our end goal is to make Akoore Secondary School a top-notch and highly competitive secondary school in the Ketu Community Axis.
We call on well-meaning individuals and organizations to support this initiative. Your financial contributions will help purchase the land, build classroom blocks and ensure the school's long-term presence, fostering
educational growth and development in the Akoore community.
